Whistler adding two new chair lifts

British Columbia's Whistler Blackcomb is upgrading once again.
The double-mountain ski area with its 200 marked runs, 8,171 acres of terrain, 16 alpine bowls and three glaciers is investing in a major lift expansion this year and next.
Whistler Mountain's high-speed, quad-chair lift will be replaced by a new Doppelmayr high-speed, detachable, six-pack lift.
Blackcomb Mountain's work includes an upgrade to a high-speed, quad-chair lift into a new area in the Crystal Zone.
