Public can't afford another tax

Enough! No more tax on gasoline! It's pure manipulation and most everyone knows it. We do not need more tax! We pay dearly for gas as it is. I thought the economy was going to improve a while back, but here we go again. Gouge the public! Well, I'm sick of it. I'm sure everyone else is also. How can families expect have a decent life and go places if they're worried about affording gas? How can people drive to work? Those lucky enough to have jobs in the first place. It almost seems like penalizing them when they should be helped.
The people who are gouging us, the public, must be making lots of money, so the high prices aren't going to hurt them. Shame on them! It's disgusting but nobody does anything about it. I always thought our government was "of the people, for the people, by the people"? It surely isn't any more. Who cares anyway? That's the shame of it all. It just plain manipulation.
