AVALON, Calif. — A pair of big, baby-making bald eagles has its own live-streaming reality series.
The Institute for Wildlife Studies is also working on the project, featuring Wray, a 27-year-old female from British Columbia, and K01, a 13-year-old male hatched at the San Francisco Zoo and released on Catalina when he was just 12 weeks old.
One egg’s been laid so far and is due to hatch the first week of April. The EagleCam went live Monday and is scheduled to continue through April 24.
Freemantle has plenty of reality experience with shows like “American Idol” and “The X Factor.”
The eagles can be seen at www.youtube.com/ThePetCollective, www.EagleCam.us or www.BaldEagleCam.us.
