Duane Hodges coached the E-W girls basketball team for four seasons.

According to an email from Edmonds School District spokesperson Debbie Joyce Jakala, Duane Hodges won't be offered a contract to be the girls basketball head coach next season.

"Renewal of all coaches contracts is annual and they are all reviewed year to year," Jakala wrote in an email to The Herald. "The current season is completed. Duane Hodges will not be offered a contract for next season."

A phone call to Hodges was not returned.

Hodges was the head coach for the Warriors for four years and earned a record of 73-30 and made two state tournament appearances, finishing fifth in 2010.
