EVERETT — Moss Adams LLP recently announced three promotions for their Everett office. Eric Young has been promoted to the position of assurance senior. Fahra Alimohamed has been promoted to the position of tax senior. Jim Thompson has been promoted to the position of assurance manager.

EDMONDS — Parul Sharma, D.O., has recently received board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology. A recent addition to Premier Orthopedic Group in Edmonds, Sharma provides specialized rheumatology care. Sharma's expertise includes nonsurgical treatment of clinical problems involving joints, soft tissues, autoimmune diseases, vasculitis and connective tissue disorders.

EVERETT — Keller Williams realty office in Everett hired two new agents at the end of 2012. Now with the firm are Emily Hanby and Mary Duke, both new agents to the industry. The agent count at Keller Williams Everett stands at 77.

EDMONDS — Landau Associates, a geotechnical, environmental engineering and natural resources consulting firm, has hired new staff members for its Edmonds office. Jeffrey Fellows joined the environmental group as a senior associate engineer. He has 16 years of environmental engineering, project management and operations experience. Evelyn Ives is a staff engineer in the environmental group. She has been working on several projects for private industry clients and recently graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor of science in environmental engineering. Devan Brandt is an office technician. He is responsible for supporting field, laboratory and vehicle operations and the field GPS systems. Jim Wilder has joined the environmental permitting group as a senior associate.

EVERETT — The Bank of Washington has welcomed Jeannette Mitchell as the new vice president and commercial loan officer in Everett. Mitchell's banking career spans more than 35 years. She is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School and is affiliated with the University of Washington, Northwest Intermediate Banking School and Northwest Commercial Lending School.

EVERETT — Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon has named Julie Putterman, a Chicago-based diversity consultant, as the county's new inclusion manager. Putterman, with more than 25 years experience in diversity issues, will be responsible for increasing cultural competence among staff as well as building strong relations with diversity and inclusion groups throughout Snohomish County and the Puget Sound region.

EVERETT — Mountain Pacific Bank has appointed Mimi MacDonald to be senior vice president and senior credit officer. MacDonald will work in Everett and will have responsibility for credit administration. She has held positions at First Interstate Bank and KeyBank. Most recently, she served as chief credit officer at First Sound Bank.

EVERETT — Energy leaders from across Washington have appointed commissioner Kathleen Vaughn of Snohomish County PUD to serve as chair of the Energy Northwest executive board's Audit, Legal and Finance Committee. Vaughn also serves on the Policy Makers Council for the American Public Power Association to work on national energy policy issues in Washington, D.C.

EVERETT — Dan Bagger has joined Everett's Goldfinch Brothers as business development manager in the residential division. Bagger will be responsible for strengthening Goldfinch's sales, marketing and business development activities and will focus on architects and builders, creating leads for the sales team. He brings nearly 28 years of experience to the firm.

MUKILTEO — Windermere Real Estate in Mukilteo has hired Jeana McDonald. Most recently a vice president with EMB Management in Bellevue, McDonald spent 20 years at MacPherson's Real Estate. She is a Lynnwood native and lives in south Everett.

SNOHOMISH — Sue Clark recently retired after a 27-year career at Gilpin Realty of Snohomish. Her friends and family honored her with a surprise retirement luncheon.

BOTHELL — BioLife Solutions says that Rick Stewart, CEO of Kirkland-based Cardiac Dimensions, has joined the board of directors and has been appointed to the Audit Committee. Stewart replaces Howard Breslow, who resigned. Stewart also has served as CEO of Tegris Corp. and had a long career at Eli Lilly.

EVERETT — Global Spectrum, the management company for Comcast Arena at Everett, has hired Jeff Kitchen as the new executive chef for Centerplate. Kitchen will be responsible for overseeing Centerplate's food and beverage operations. He has worked at several local restaurants and most recently worked as executive chef at Daniel's Catering in Seattle.

LYNNWOOD — Nils Bajczuk has joined Mountain Pacific Bank as senior vice president, commercial market manager. He will be responsible for commercial lending in south Snohomish County and will be based in the bank's Lynnwood branch. Bajczuk is an experienced commercial lender and began his career with City Bank in Lynnwood. Most recently, he was vice president and commercial team leader at Whidbey Island Bank. Bajczuk's commercial lending team includes credit analyst Britni Babington and senior loan assistant Linda Stinnett.

REDMOND — Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance has chosen aviation consultant Melanie Jordan to be the executive director for the regional nonprofit organization. Jordan is president of Aviation Liaison Services and is a pilot and aviation enthusiast.

EVERETT — Intermec Inc. announced that Scott Anderson, Intermec's vice president of global channels, has been named one of UBM Tech Channel's CRN 2013 Channel Chiefs. This prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while expressing the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry. Named to the list for the third consecutive year, Anderson, whose entire career has focused on channel sales efforts, joined Intermec in 2009 and was responsible for overseeing the 2010 launch of Intermec's award-winning channel program PartnerNet, which is currently comprised of thousands of leading businesses worldwide.

KIRKLAND — Greenpoint Technologies, which has a Marysville operation and designs and installs VIP interiors for Boeing Business Jets, has announced the resignation of executive Vice President Sloan Benson. Benson started with Greenpoint as one of the first employees and worked in nearly every department during her 24-year career. For the past six years, her attention focused on the organization's strategic growth and manufacturing capability.

EDMONDS — Terwedo Financial Services LLC hired Aaron Terwedo as planning assistant. Aaron Terwedo is a veteran of the US Army, having served in Iraq on three separate deployments. The discipline, team work, and determination that he learned while in the service has translated well into his work at Terwedo Financial Services, where he has become an integral part of its team. As a planning assistant, he provides customer service and supports the Terwedo Financial Services team.

MARYSVILLE — Dr. Kim Kron of Marysville Vision Source welcomed Dr. Jessie Liu to his optometric practice. Liu, a transplant from the San Francisco Bay area, chose to practice in Marysville because he felt the balance of life is superior to what can be had in California. Liu also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and practices the full scope of optometric care for eye health, disease and injury. His love of working with children earned him recognition within the Infant-Toddler Clinic at the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry.

LYNNWOOD — Eric Newton, a member of the Lynnwood Convention Center food and beverage team, is the recipient of the Employee of the Quarter Award. He is the lead cook and stewarding supervisor.
