SNOHOMISH — Get a close-up look at turtles and tortoises this weekend at a free event at the Snohomish Library.
Thayer Cueter, also known as the “Frog Lady,” plans to bring several of them to a free event at 2 p.m. Sunday at the library, 311 Maple Ave.
She plans to talk about the history of these creatures.
The event is aimed for families and is supported by the Friends of the Snohomish Library.
Cueter, a veterinary technician and a herpetologist, helped create the Just Frogs Toads Too And Friends! Amphibian Center at 300 Admiral Way Suite 104, the Edmonds waterfront.
At the center, she has thousands of frogs, stick bugs and other amphibians.
