Model cars and football were among his favorite hobbies.

In a move designed to expand their market base and make banking more convenient, Olympic Savings Bank, Pioneer Federal Savings Bank and Rainier National Bank planned to open six branches in Snohomish and Island county Safeway stores. Lynnwood Savings and Loan already had branches in three Olson's Food stores.

Perkins Carpet & Installation was having its grand opening March 5 through March 19 and invited shoppers to come in. They were located at 8830 Evergreen Way, Suite D.
