A one-car accident killed a 20-year-old Darrington man Sunday night.

DARRINGTON — A 20-year-old Darrington man died Sunday after his car went off the road north of town.

The crash was reported just before 9:45 a.m. Sunday along Highway 530, near the crossing with Concrete-Sauk Valley Road, according to a Washington State Patrol memo. That's just north of the Snohomish-Skagit county line.

Troopers believe Kenneth Cousins was eastbound in a 1993 Subaru Legacy when the car crossed the center line, left the road and landed in a cluster of trees.

Cousins was ejected from the car.

Troopers are investigating.
