OAK HARBOR -- An Oak Harbor man, 27, was listed in satisfactory condition Monday after crashing his motorcycle this weekend on Whidbey Island.

The crash was reported about 10:45 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Silver Lake Road and N. Green Road, about seven miles east of Oak Harbor, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

Troopers believe the man was westbound on Green Road when his 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle left the roadway.

The man was flown via medical helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he remained Monday. The investigation is continuing. Troopers do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
