A's down Mariners 7-3

PHOENIX -- Jed Lowrie hit a two-run homer, and the Oakland Athletics beat a Seattle Mariners split-squad 7-3 in Cactus League action on Thursday.

Tommy Milone pitched three scoreless innings for the A's, who have won four of their past five.

Robert Andino hit a home run for the Mariners, who had a 10-game winning streak snapped Wednesday. Kendrys Morales added two hits.

Mariners starter Brandon Maurer allowed a run on four hits in three innings.

Milone allowed three hits, walked one and struck out three.
