The annual spring nature kayak tour at Lake Sammamish State Park provides everything else, including dry suits and life vests.

The tours are noon to 3 p.m. March 17 and 24 at the state park, 2000 NW Sammamish Road, Issaquah.

Cost is $12 per person, with registration required. Kayak rental is $12 to $15 extra, depending on double or single.

A guide leads the two-hour tour along the shores of Lake Sammamish and up part of Issaquah Creek. A state parks ranger will present an on-the-water program about the great blue heron. Spotting scopes will be available for land-based bird viewing,
