Seahawks return man Leon Washington on his way out?
The Seahawks' trade for Percy Harvin, who in addition to being a dynamic receiver is also one of the game's best kick returners, immediately put into question Leon Washington's future in Seattle.
Washington has been great for Seattle since coming here in 2010, and he made the Pro Bowl last season, but his role in the offense was very limited, so if the Seahawks were planning on using Harvin for kick returns, Washington became somewhat expendable. And now it appears that the Seahawks are in fact parting ways with Washington, who on Twitter put out what looks a lot like a goodbye to fans.
Not long after, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that the Seahawks will indeed release Washington.
