Helio Sequence heads Timber Music Festival lineup

The brand new Timber! Outdoor Music Fest in Carnation has just announced the first round of bands for their very first year and things are looking very promising.

Every band announced so far is fantastic. Several of my favorite Seattle area bands have already been announced, including Everett band River Giant. Helio Sequence (one of my favorite bands ever) is at the top of the bill. I still maintain that Helio Sequence drummer, Benjamin Weikel, is the best drummer I have ever seen live. Ever.

Tickets for Timber! will be available March 19 at 10 a.m. for $45 for two days and general festival camping will only be $20 per tent. This is just about as inexpensive a weekend music experience as you are going to find. In fact, I can't think of a better deal than this.

More details coming soon. For now enjoy some tunes from the bands announced this morning and get ready to buy your tickets!
