Former Washington Stealth goalkeeper Nick Patterson was signed to the Calgary Roughnecks practice roster on Tuesday. To make room for Patterson, the Roughnecks released Andrew Murphy.
Patterson logged just over 114 minutes of playing time for the Stealth this season. He allowed 32 goals on 107 shots for a .701 save percentage and a 16.81 goals against average.
The Stealth released Patterson after signing free-agent goaltender Matt Roik, who is now in his second stint with the Stealth as the backup to starter Tyler Richards.
In other NLL news, the defending NLL champion Rochester Knighthawks have traded Casey Powell to the Colorado Mammoth in exchange for Jon Sullivan and the Mammoth’s third-round selection in the 2014 NLL entry draft.
