Prep boys soccer: Cedarcrest 4, Highline 1

SEATTLE -- Cedarcrest went up 4-0 before yielding a goal late in the game in a season-opening nonleague win. Chris Cole scored twice for the Red Wolves and Elliot Willis and Matt Mortimer combined to hold Highling scoreless until the 74th minute.

At Highline Memorial Stadium

Goals--Kyle Walsh (C), Chris Cole (C) 2, Jesus Galvan (C), Sean Rita (H). Assists--Michael Funk (C), Ryan Gifford (C), Daniel Garcia (H). Goalkeepers--Cedarcrest: Elliot Wills, Matt Mortimer. Highline: Liam Dennehy. Records--Cedarcrest 1-0 overall. Highline not reported.
