Suspect arrested after shots fired in Everett; no one hurt

EVERETT -- No one was hurt Friday afternoon when a man fired multiple shots outside his central Everett home.

The incident started about 1:45 p.m. in the 6200 block of Fleming Street, Everett police Sgt. Ryan Dalberg said.

The man at some point went back inside, and police surrounded the house, Dalberg said.

Officers were able to speak to the man on the phone, and he eventually surrendered.

The man, believed to be in his late 40s, was arrested. The investigation was ongoing.
