Everett vs. Tri-City: lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:

Leedahl-Bauml-Petryk
Skapski-Fonteyne-Oslanski
Soumelidis-Low-Stadnyk

Defensive pairings:
Mueller-Juulsen
Betker-Davis
MacDonald-Zipp

Starting goalie:

Scratches: Nikkel, Cox, Mappin, Grayson, Harrison, Aasman, Adam.

Notes: With nothing to play for in the season finale, Everett fields three 15-year-olds in center Matt Fonteyne and defensemen Kevin Davis and Noah Juulsen. For Juulsen it's his WHL debut. Landon Oslanski, the only Everett player to appear in all 72 games this season, gets another game at forward. Forwards Ryan Harrison (upper body), Logan Aasman (upper body) and Lucas Grayson (lower body), and defensemen Ayrton Nikkel (finger) and Austin Adam (undisclosed) are out injured.

TRI-CITY

Forward lines:
Bulbuc-Gutierrez-McCue
Mychan-Feser-Stromwall
Bowles-Rankin-Williams
Walter-Messier-Nickles

Defensive pairings:
Yuen-Tomchuk
Wotherspoon-Hamonic
Filbrandt

Starting goalie:
Lee-Knight

Scratches: Dow, Plutnar, Dallman, Chynoweth, Topping, Carlo, Comrie.

Notes: Tri-City decides to play one short to rest up its defense in advance of the playoffs. The Americans have an injury list that includes goaltender Eric Comrie (hip), defenseman Mitch Topping (lower body), and forwards Tyson Dallman (lower body) and Ryan Chynoweth (upper body). Two call-ups, 17-year-old Fraser Bulbuc and 15-year-old defenseman Parker Wotherspoon, get the call.
