Get free dental work Saturday

Sign up for Weekend to-do list
Here's something to smile about: free dental treatment. Not cleanings. Treatment.

The Fourth Annual Day of Caring is Saturday.

Dr. Michael Hrankowski and a team of dentists will offer free dental service from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Edmonds Woodway Dental Care, 6100 219th St. SW, Suite 530, Mountlake Terrace. Three hygienists and 10 assistants will be on hand. During the last Day of Caring, 64 people were seen.

Treatment is on a first-come basis. Priority will be given to people in pain or with infections. Procedures include extractions, fillings and other symptomatic one-visit treatment. No root canals or cleanings will be performed.

There is no guarantee everyone who shows up will be seen. "Come early for the best chance at being seen, but please, not before 6 a.m.," Hrankowski said.
