Police initially went to the man's house along Elizabeth Street in February to investigate reports he was running an illegal wrecking yard, according to the arrest report.
The man, 30, has a felony theft conviction out of Pierce County. Documents found at his home showed he was trying to restore his firearm rights.
Prosecutors recommended against the restoration, because the man has juvenile firearm convictions and 11 misdemeanors as an adult, the arrest report said.
The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
He also remains under investigation regarding the alleged illegal wrecking yard and alleged illegal car sales, Monroe police said on Friday.
According to a police press release, the firearms seized included an AK-47, an AR-15 and a stolen 12-gauge shotgun.
A tow dolly and car engine, both stolen, also reportedly were found on the property.
