The Seattle Times reports that Mark W. Mullan, 50, had at least two previous drunken driving cases -- one in Seattle and another in Snohomish County -- in the past four months.
A 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman died at the scene Monday. Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg says a 33-year-old woman and a 10-day-old infant remain in critical condition Tuesday morning. It was not known whether the woman was the infant's mother.
Seattle police say alcohol or drugs may have been a factor in the crash.
