Prep softball: Glacier Peak 4, Shorewood 1

SNOHOMISH -- Madalyn Ferraro had a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth to help Glacier Peak pull away in the Wesco 3A South game. Grizzlies' pitcher Callie Bircher struck out 11 batters and allowed one run in seven innings, improving her season record to 5-1.
