TACOMA — Authorities say a second adult child has died after a weekend shooting at a Tacoma-area home. Police said a 69-year-old man shot his adult son and daughter.
The News Tribune said that Tacoma General Hospital spokeswoman Marce Edwards confirmed that Dennis League, 46, died Thursday afternoon.
Police said Michael League shot both Dennis League and his sister, 43-year-old Danielle Faucett, while they slept early Sunday at the family’s Puyallup home.
Michael League has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder charges. Prosecutors said charges will be amended in light of Dennis League’s death.
Prosecutors said Michael League called 911 and told a dispatcher what he’d done and that his children’s use of drugs and alcohol caused strife in the family.
