We’ve known since Friday that the Seahawks were close to a deal that will send backup quarterback Matt Flynn to Oakland, and now that deal is reportedly done.
OAK has traded 2 picks to Seattle for Matt Flynn, will sign papers on it this AM &now trying to finalize Carson Palmer to AZ for late pick

According to Glazer and others, compensation will be a pick in 2014 (likely a mid-to-late rounder, but the exact pick has not yet surfaced) and a conditional 2015 pick.
The Seahawks, who now have only one quarterback on their roster, would no doubt prefer to find a backup in the draft to save money, but if they are going to also add a more experienced backup, one name that makes sense is free agent Tyler Thigpen, an athletic quarterback who has experience running the read-option.
Tyler Thigpen, who has plenty of read-option experience, is on short list of quarterbacks to serve as Russell Wilson’s backup
