SILVERDALE, — The Kitsap County sheriff’s office said a 14-year-old Seabeck boy was killed when the car in which he was riding ran off a road Thursday night and landed upside down in creek.
Deputy Scott Wilson said the boy was declared dead at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. An airlift to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle had been called but was canceled.
Wilson said two other teens in the car were treated.
Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue said the two were able to get out as the car filled with water. The 14-year-old was trapped until rescuers were able to extricate him.
