SNOHOMISH — Alyssa Simons hit two home runs and finished with five RBI to lead Snohomish past Glacier Peak 11-4 on Monday and keep the Panthers undefeated on the season. Simons capped Snohomish’s four-run first inning with a three-run homer and added a two-run shot in the sixth.
Bailey Seek picked up the victory to improve to 4-0 on the season, but had to leave in the seventh after getting hit on the right forearm by a line drive. Panthers head coach Lou Kennedy said Seek’s status was uncertain, but didn’t think there was any possibility of the junior pitching in today’s game against Arlington. However, Kennedy did not rule out an appearance depending on the results of Seek’s x-rays.
Grizzlies catcher Nina Kim went 2-for-2, with two walks, an RBI and a run scored.
