KOMO-TV reported that Mark W. Mullan remains jailed with bail set at $2.5 million. He is charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault and reckless driving. If convicted the 50-year-old Seattle man would face 15 to 19 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Mullan had a blood alcohol level of .22 percent after the March 25 accident.
The crash killed Dennis and Judith Schulte, retired teachers from Kokomo, Ind., who recently moved to Seattle.
Their daughter-in-law, 33-year-old Karina Ulriksen-Schulte and her infant son, Elias, were critically injured and remain in Harborview Medical Center.
Mullan has a record of five previous DUI arrests.
