Where's coverage of festival court?

It was with interest I read the letter asking where the Everett Herald was concerning the "biggest local Snohomish issue in recent history." (April 5, "Citizens speak loud and clear.") Also, in the same issue, "Our Towns" had an article headlined "Four vie for dairy ambassador." The candidates hail from Monroe, Stanwood and Snohomish.
My issue with the Everett Herald is that there was not one article or mention of the Marysville Strawberry Festival coronation of the Strawberry court held on March 23 at the Marysville Pilchuck High School auditorium. I am sure the annual festival -- scheduled in June -- brings individuals from around the state of Washington and Canada. I am sure that even Everett benefits from this festival. Why was there not a reporter or photographers from The Herald at this event?
So, I, too, ask: What is in the incentive for Snohomish readers to subscribe to The Herald? Very disappointing!
