The Washington Stealth have found a new way to both thank their fans and attempt to increase attendance this Saturday when the Philadelphia Wings come to Comcast Arena for the final game of the National Lacrosse League’s regular season.
One of the fans in attendance at Saturday’s game will win a 2013 Chrysler 200.
“An $18,000 car with those odds? That’s a healthier payoff than snagging a ball at a baseball game,” Stealth president David Takata said.
Average attendance at Stealth games is hovering at just over 4,000. The smallest crowed of the season came in early March against the Minnesota Swarm when 2,663 fans showed up for the game. The Stealth’s largest crowd came in the season opener when just over 7,000 fans showed up.
