LAKE STEVENS -- A fatal crash in Lake Stevens last week remains under investigation.
The April 11 crash took the life of Nicholas R. Peterson, 26, of Lake Stevens. Police believe Peterson was a passenger in a car that drove into a house along 99th Avenue.
The driver of the car initially was taken to the hospital after the crash. Lake Stevens police this week would not provide an update on his condition. No other serious injuries were reported.
Lake Stevens detectives are working with the Snohomish County sheriff's Collision Investigation Unit and county prosecutors on the case, a police spokeswoman said. No additional details have been released.
