Leaving Home alone

Faceplant: Facebook's new Android smartphone interface, Facebook Home, has been downloaded 500,000 times since its release a week ago, but that number suffers in comparison to other smartphone apps. Instagram's app for Android hit more than 1 million downloads in its first 24 hours of release.

To put it in terms that Facebook users will appreciate, Facebook Home is like that photo of your lunch that you posted that only got one "Like." From your mom.

We now return to our regular programming: China is warning that a fourth nuclear weapons test by North Korea is possible and is encouraging negotiations among several countries to end the rogue nation's nuclear program.

After last week's news, it's nice to get back to some lighter subjects in the news, like a madman threatening nuclear war.

Occupied: A Kansas woman attending a circus was surprised to find a tiger in the women's restroom. The tiger got loose after its act and wandered through one of two doors to the ladies room. The woman quickly turned around and left, and the tiger was soon returned to its cage.

So, a length of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of your shoe is no longer the scariest thing that can follow you out of the bathroom.
