SNOHOMISH — Mount Vernon’s Humberto Garza scored two goals, including an unassisted goal just two minutes into the contest, and the Bulldogs handed Snohomish its first loss of the season. Adriano Terenzi recorded the shutout in goal for the Bulldogs.
The Panthers now need a win Friday in a rivalry match against Lake Stevens to lock up a 4A North title. “We don’t have options,” said Snohomish head coach Dan Pingrey. “We have to win if we want to take care of business.”
