Prep softball: Cedarcrest sweeps doubleheader with Coupeville

DUVALL -- The Cedarcrest offense exploded for 21 runs on 32 hits as the Red Wolves swept a Cascade Conference doubleheader against Coupeville by scores of 12-4 and 9-2. Cedarcrest's Jerrica Kjorsvik went 6-for-8 between the two games with a home run, six RBI and four runs scored. The Red Wolves Karly Gidlof also had a home run in the first game, where she batted 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.
In the second game, Kailyn Campbell hit a homer for Cedarcrest and finished the day 3-for-7 with five RBI and four runs scored.
McKayla Bailey led Coupeville, going 2-for-3 in the second game with a solo home run.
