SEATAC -- Sound Transit will have a groundbreaking ceremony today on a new light rail station in SeaTac that will extend the elevated line about a mile-and-a-half south of Sea-Tac Airport.
The $383 million project will include a 700-car parking garage and a transfer point for buses.
The Angle Lake segment is scheduled to open in 2016, the same year as the extension to the University District. The line currently runs between the airport and downtown Seattle.
