Stealth defenseman Mike Grimes finished second in the voting and Buffalo's Steve Priolo and Toronto's Patrick Merrill finished tied for third.
MacIntosh recorded 55 points (27 goals, 28 assists) in 2013. He ranked second in the league in loose balls with 197 and fourth in faceoffs won with 241. He won Transition Player of the Week six times in the regular season.

The NLL season awards are determined by a vote of the league's Board of Governors, general managers and head coaches.
