Isaac Maldonado has joined Coastal Community Bank in Smokey Point as assistant vice president and commercial loan relationship manager. Maldonado is a longtime resident of Snohomish County, with a background in commercial lending and business analytics.
Moss Adams has named Rhonda Powell director of tax. She replaces Dick Fohn, who was elected president and COO in October. Powell will work closely with the firm’s executive and tax committees to manage and strengthen the firm’s tax practice and risk management.
RBC Wealth Management has promoted Shane Flock to branch director of the Edmonds office, according to Michael Nielsen, Seattle complex director. Flock brings more than 15 years of financial industry experience to his new position. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2009, he worked for Merrill Lynch.
Windermere Real Estate in Mukilteo has welcomed Romi Hancock as a new agent. Hancock previously worked at Coldwell Banker in Salt Lake City and, more recently, as a nutritionist and trainer at Gold’s Gym in Mukilteo.
Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. has added Rick Wissmiller to the sales management team. He will be responsible for leading the contractor sales division. For nearly 10 years, Wissmiller has worked in a variety of sales management roles in the kitchen and bath industry.
The Master Builders Association has announced a leadership change. Executive officer Sam Anderson, whose contract was up this year, has left after serving as executive officer of the association for 16 years. A search for Anderson’s replacement began in January.
Cincinnati-based Window Genie has welcomed local resident Pat Braich to the team. Braich will open Window Genie’s newest franchise in Mukilteo. Braich worked for H&R Block as a district manager for seven years prior to joining Window Genie.

Klein Honda in Everett sales consultant Ravinder Sharma is one of only 32 Honda employees nationwide to earn top volume sales consultant status for the Council of Sales Leadership program. Sharma beat out more than 14,000 Honda sales consultants nationwide and was also the top performer in his zone for Honda.
Pink Blossom Events has been chosen as the 2013 Best Wedding Planner in Snohomish by the Wedding Industry Experts Awards.
WorkSource Monroe has received the annual Washington chapter of the International Association of Workforce Professionals Customer Service Award. The award recognizes individuals and groups providing exceptional service to customers throughout the workforce system.
Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. was recognized as one of the top 20 manufacturers in the state at the 2013 Washington Manufacturing Awards last month. A Silver Award in Manufacturing was presented by Seattle Business magazine. These awards recognized companies and individuals who continue to innovate and streamline and expand their businesses.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center and Boeing Tour was awarded a spot on the www.gogobot.com list of the Best Guided Tours in the world. Two other Puget Sound guided tours made the list: the Seattle Underground Tour and the Savor Seattle Food Tour at Pike Place Market.
In a national survey, the Snohomish County Public Utility District ranked number one for program offerings. It ranked second for overall brand value which measured attributes such reliability, customer service and environmental friendliness. The survey was conducted by ESource in coordination with the Nielsen Co.

Dwayne Lane’s Arlington Chevrolet is partnering with the Stilly Valley Little League in Arlington. Dwayne Lane’s Arlington Chevrolet has joined forces with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide new equipment, a monetary contribution, invitations to free instructional clinics and an opportunity for community members to enter a free Chevrolet vehicle sweepstakes.
The Snoqualmie Tribe Fund has awarded donations to 113 organizations following its winter application cycle. Of those, 41 are located in the greater Seattle area. The Snoqualmie Tribe Fund prioritizes organizations whose work focuses on community development, the environment, arts and culture, health and human services and education.

The newest Haggen Northwest Fresh concept store will officially open on Wednesday in Marysville at the former Haggen Food &Pharmacy store. There will be a ribbon-cutting and other festivities. The Marysville store is the 10th to be transformed into the Haggen Northwest Fresh format that debuted in 2011.

The Boom City Swap Meet will open this month. It will close June 3 to July 12 for Boom City fireworks vendors then reopen July 13 and remain open through early September. Wells Fargo plans to open two new banking stores in the area in response to growth. This is part of the company’s plans to open 15 to 20 new locations in Western Washington over the next five years. The two new locations are at Silver Firs in South Everett and Kelsey Creek in Bellevue.
GROW Washington in Sultan will host a new summer Artist in Action series. If you are a local artist with a business license and are interested in renting a space to sell your work, stop by GROW Washington at 922 Highway 2 in Sultan to pick up an application and artist agreement. Space is limited.
Foggy Noggin Brewing is celebrating the return of a seasonal beer, Chief Lightfoot Irish Red, at the tasting room in Bothell. The seasonal brew will run about six to eight weeks.
