The National Lacrosse League announced the 2013 All-Rookie team on Monday.
The team was highlighted by Edmonton forward Mark Matthews, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NLL entry draft.
Matthews led all rookies in goals with 38, the third most by a rookie in NLL history. He scored in all 16 games, finishing second on the Rush and 15th in the league in scoring with 69 points (38 goals, 31 assists).
Matthews won Rookie of the Month three times, Offensive Player of the Week once and Rookie of the Week twice.
