Everett firefighters work to put out a fire on a boat in the Everett Marina Tuesday evening. Everett Fire Department crews responded to a call of a boat fire from the Everett Police Department who were on scene handling a domestic dispute call, according to Everett Fire Department Fire Marshall Rick Robinson. One man was taken into custody by police.

EVERETT -- A boat fire at a Port of Everett marina was reported about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Everett Fire Department crews responded to a fire reported by Everett police, who told crews that a possibly suicidal man had set a small boat on fire, following a domestic dispute.
Smoke from the fire forced the man to leave the boat. He was taken into custody by police as the fire was extinguished by the fire department.
No serious injuries were reported.
