Ghost hunt
Participate in a paranormal investigation at Historic Everett Theatre, and help one of the oldest operating theaters in the country make the transition to digital projection.
Hunt for ghosts alongside White Noise Paranormal at several fundraising tours planned by Guided Ghost Investigations. The next is set for 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. May 25. Tickets are $45, half of which goes to the theater.

Donate unwanted electronics: Domestic Violence Service of Snohomish County has long accepted unwanted cellphones, which can still be used to call 911.
Now the Everett-based nonprofit also is accepting iPads and iPhones.
Devices that are broken or missing chargers also are welcome, which the nonprofit is able to sell to phone recyclers.

Scholarhip available: Cedar Grove Composting will award a $2,500 scholarship to a graduating senior at Everett High School this June through a partnership with the Everett Public Schools Foundation. The deadline to apply is Thursday.
Prospective students must demonstrate interest, action and achievement in issues surrounding sustainability and the environment. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required, along with a recommendation and essay.
The scholarship also includes the opportunity to be interviewed for a summer internship at Cedar Grove.
