MONROE -- Kamiak's Kevaughn Escobar-Umayam pitched a complete game and struck out eight as the Knights staved off elimination with a win over Monroe. Andrew Piccini and Niko Umpleby each hit a double and finished with two RBI for the Knights. Wyatt Segle doubled and homered for the Bearcats. Kamiak will play Cascade for the third and final state berth on Thursday at Everett Memorial Stadium at 4 p.m.
