The Buzz: Members only

Brand management: With wealthy folks snapping up Ferraris left and right, the Italian supercar maker will limit sales to protect the brand's aura of exclusivity.

From now on, purchase of Ferraris will be restricted to the following people: Saudi oil sheiks, NBA franchise owners and Mitt Romney.

Don't sit there: Today, only a select few can buy a Ferrari. In the Middle Ages only kings and popes could sit in chairs. Everyone else had to perch on benches or stools, or simply stand.

Come to think of it, we do have pretty much the same thing in modern times: those luxury suites at sports arenas.

Bad financial bet 101: Higher education can be a crummy financial investment for students who rack up enormous debt while majoring in journali ... [cough, cough] low-paying fields, or attending lower-tier schools, a new study says.

The study's authors recommend students try to get into more selective schools, and/or major in engineering or computer science. Or learn how to maintain and repair Ferraris.
