More small liquor stores may be OK'd in Washington
The News Tribune reports it would make liquor available with a drive of no more than 20 miles. It also would allow tribal stores on tribal land and permit small liquor stores on islands not accessible by road.
These would be exceptions to the liquor privatization law approved by voters that limits most liquor stores to 10,000 square feet or larger.
After a public hearing the proposal could be approved in July.
