Boys Prep soccer: Shorecrest 2, Meadowdale 0

SHORELINE -- Jack Neffner scored a goal off an Axel Wickstrom assist in the 39th minute to pace Shorecrest to a win over Meadowdale in a 3A District 1 Tournament game. With the victory the Scots advance to face Stanwood in the district championship game Saturday at 7 p.m. at Shoreline Stadium.
At Shoreline Stadium
Goals--Jack Neffner (SC), Shorecrest own goal. Assists--Axel Wickstrom (SC). Goalkeepers--Meadowdale: Evan Lee and second goalkeeper not reported. Shorecrest: Sam Schober. Records--Meadowdale 5-13-1 overall. Shorecrest 12-4-3.
