Suspect sought in Lynnwood pawn shop theft (video)

LYNNWOOD -- Detectives in Lynnwood are looking for help in identifying a woman suspected in a theft at a Lynnwood pawn shop.
The crime occurred just after 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 19800 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood.
No one was hurt after a woman walked into the pawn shop, asked to see some jewelry from the display case then grabbed two trays filled with rings and ran out of the store.
It is believed the suspect ran to a car, possibly a gray-colored Buick Riviera.
The woman is black and about 20 years old. She's about 5 foot 2 and 160 pounds. She wore red shorts and a black shirt.

Lynnwood detectives are working with other agencies to see if this robbery is connected to any others in the region.
Anyone with information is asked to contact detective Doug Teachworth at 425-670-5616 or email at dteachworth@ci.lynnwood.wa.us. Callers can be anonymous.
