MARYSVILLE — Annie Leete of Oak Harbor won the girls golf 3A Northwest District 1 Championships with a two-round total of 158, 20 shots better than her closest competitor. Leete shot 88 in the second round, the low round of the day. She already led by 14 shots after running away from the field with an even-par 70 in round one.
Glacier Peak qualified five of its six golfers for state, including Dani Durand and Isabella Seda, who finished in a tie for third with 180.
