Help sought in identifying Lake Stevens robbery suspect

LAKE STEVENS -- Detectives are asking for help identifying the suspect in the April 26 robbery at the Whidbey Island Bank along Highway 9 in Lake Stevens.
A man entered the bank at Frontier Village just after 3:15 p.m. He indicated he had a weapon and demanded cash. He ran away with the money. Police believe he had parked a vehicle at a nearby fast-food restaurant.
The man wore sunglasses, a gray hoodie-style sweatshirt, blue jeans and black running shoes.
He was described as white, roughly 5-foot-8 and in his 30s or 40s. Witnesses said he had a large nose, thin lips, short brown hair and a medium build.
Anyone with information should call 425-377-3503 or email dthomas@lakestevenswa.gov.
