MONROE — Snohomish beat Cascade 4-0 behind a dominant outing by freshman pitcher Alyssa Simons, who struck out 14 in a two-hit shutout and also contributed a solo home run. The Panthers will face the third-place finisher from KingCo for a berth to state.
Anna Pisac drove in a pair of runs in Snohomish’s third-place victory, and in an 11-1 victory over Kamiak earlier in the day, she went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double and four RBI.
