SHORELINE — King’s Reid Jones and Julia Teitzel swept the boys and girls high jump, respectively, as the Knights won both boys and girls team competitions at the 1A Tri-District Championships on Saturday. Jones leaped 6 feet, 2 inches and Teitzel’s best jump was 5-3.
Other local winners included the King’s 1,600-meter relay team of Ryan Mills, Hunter Bryson, Andrew Ayers and Alex Brouwer and South Whidbey’s Angelina Berger in the discus (119-11).
