Regarding Kathleen Parker's May 12 column, "Benghazi, the redacted State Dept. version": Isn't it wonderful that the mainstream press has finally come to the party after over seven months of totally ignoring the issue. They came kicking and screaming but never the less they have arrived. Kathleen Parker, like most of her colleagues, did so reluctantly and continue to carry President Obama and Hillary Clinton's water.
In Hillary's case, Ms. Parker uses Hillary's trip to the hospital for treatment of a blood clot as an excuse for any of her shortcomings. Let's face it folks, Hillary went to the hospital to avoid testifying on Capitol Hill as she had done for months, waiting until she left office and the presidential election was over. I personally enjoyed seeing her throw a temper tantrum on live TV when she finally testified with her shrill pronouncement "What difference does it make." I'll tell you what difference it makes -- four Americans lost their lives and we need to know why so we can prevent it from happening again. As for Obama, he did it for purely political reasons and to not hamper his re-election. He orchestrated the entire episode including directing his lackeys Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice to go out and lie to the American public about what really happened. Ms. Parker states they were factually dishonest. I say again they were bald-faced liars and as Ms. Parker puts it, they were in full CYA (covering your anatomical-posterior) mode. Four mothers are without their sons on Mother's Day. That is the real tragedy.
