Who takes care of the caregiver? Probably no one. So it's up to you to give yourself a break.
The Stillaguamish Senior Center is hosting a free film presentation, "A Prescription for Caregivers," by Wendy Lustbader, a mental health counselor, teacher and lecturer, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. May 29 at the center.
Lustbader is author of "Taking Care of Aging Family Members: A Practical Guide" and "Counting on Kindness: The Dilemmas of Dependency."
Lustbader began studying and working with caregivers as she watched her own family struggling to care for her grandfather who had Alzheimer's disease, according to Family Caregiver Alliance, a national organization.
The Stillaguamish Senior Center is at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington.
Call 360-653-4551 or email caregiver@stillycenter.com for more information.
