It's almost June. Your taxes are done, but that box marked "To Be Shredded" is still taking up space.
Bring it to the Community Shred event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the QFC parking lot at 4919 Evergreen Way, Everett.
Your identity-disclosing documents will be safely obliterated by Shred-It, and your donation will help support Seattle Children's Hospital uncompensated care fund.
Seattle Children's Hospital guild members will collect $5 for a grocery bagful and $10 per box.
Last year, Children's provided $113.7 million in uncompensated care to families in Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho, according to the guild association.
Call 206-987-4876 for more information.
